How to Use Simplet (from scratch)

Step 1 – Pick a Simplet template or Start from scratch
1 - You can search if a Simplet has already been made for your process
2 - If it has it will appear beneath the search bar
3 - You can also start to make a Simplet from scratch

Step 2 – Title and Intro
1 - Tell everyone what this Simplet helps them do
2 - Give a bit more detail on what this Simplet is about
3 - [optional] - Select what is needed to complete the Simplet
Step 3 – Start making Step 1
1 - Write a Title for the step (what they will be doing)
2 - Launch the screen capture
Step 4 – Choose which Screen to Share
You can choose to share your:
1 - web browser tab
2 - any window of a program you are in
3 - your entire screen.
4 - In your first time using Simplet you may have to give permission for Simplet on your device and/or browser to use screen capture and recording.
5 - Select Share when you have chosen.
Step 5 – Confirm Screenshot/Capture
1 - What you have captured will appear below
2 - Click "Take a Picture" to confirm
Step 6 – Highlight and Remove Personal Data
You will be asked to do a privacy check, so you can remove any personal data of your own or anyone else from the screen. This is also a chance to remove anything platform owners want private with Redaction box / Blur.
You can then highlight action points and areas of interest with arrows, boxes, numbers and more
Step 7 – Name and give guidance to the Step
1 - Add a title explaining what is covered in this step
2 - Add text description to guide the viewer in the simplest, clearest way possible
3 - [optional] - Add a link to direct the user where they need to go to complete the step
4 - [optional] - Click "Add a Step" to add more stages in your Simplet if needed
Step 8 – Save Simplet + Create Account
- Click "Save this Simplet"
- Choose "Create Account" if you don't have one
- Confirm you have permission to share the content in the Simplet publicly
- Choose a Membership level and Add to Cart
